Every once in a while a client asks whether or not Legal Translation Systems is able to certify a translation that was already done. Sometimes the translation was done by a certified translator located overseas, but fails to comply with U.S. requirements, and in other occasions, it has been prepared by the client, who might actually be a competent translator.
Be that as it may, our policy prohibits certifying translations done by third parties, for our sworn affidavits of accuracy state that the translation has been prepared by us. We take that veruy seriously.
